It is not every day when DStv and Nickelodeon throw a fun filled family day in Zimbabwe. This weekend the 2 media houses came together and hosted a family day at Benji’s Fun Factory in Gerystone Park in Harare. The festivities were attended by subscribers and their families as well as the general public. The event marked the launch of the new Nickelodeon channels, Nick Toons and Nick Junior which are now available on DStv.  This exhilarating day was part of DStv’s  #2MuchFunFor1 continental promotion. Free fun on a Saturday was a recipe to an unforgettable weekend.

All the weekend bliss started at 11 am at the popular fun factory. The venue was filled with colour and plenty of activities for the little ones. From train rides, water slides and rodeo rides there was a jam packed afternoon activity list. Kids and parents shared some special moments with the DStv photobooth which captured all the special memories. MisRed hosted the exciting afternoon and game challenges that left the kids dancing to “Happy” and winning some super cool prizes. Parents and kids received complimentary drinks and food which included a tasty lunch. The big moment of the afternoon was the grand entrance of the famous, “ Dora the Explorer”. The lively Dora was welcomed by loud screams and big smiles. The kids not only got to pose for pictures with Dora but also did some energetic dancing with her.  The afternoon was undeniably a kid’s heaven which left them with priceless smiles. It was definitely #2MuchFunFor1 and so much more of the best entertainment brought to Harare by DStv.
