Intimate, casual and chic! Cafe Veldemeers has been one of my favourite cafes in Harare offering a wonderful selection of sit in meals and decadent patisseries . Veldemeers is renowned for their famous Belgian chocolate made in Zimbabwe but their cafe is a cosy spot for foodies wanting an intimate and casual spot that is central and has delicious offerings. From croissants, fresh juices, pizzas to delicious waffles … your taste buds are certainly in for treat

Being a regular at Veldemeers means that I am pretty well versed in their offerings and know what meal offerings compliment my cravings. Like the hearty butternut soup on a cold day, a tasty pizza for a lunch catch up with a friend or the waffles to share when in the need for something sweet. Then there is my all time favourite , the absolutely divine meringue cake which is filled with layers of glorious flavours. This CAKE IS EVERYTHING and a must try fo the foodie wanting a sweet treat.
This quaint spot has continued to offer a cosy cafe experience with delicious offerings and wonderful service. A a self claimed regular – it is definitely a MiMi must! Thank you to David for the great hospitality during each sit in.
