The first night of the festival kicked off with some comedy and good laughs. Stand-up Comedy under the Harare stars was certainly unique and a refreshing take on the traditional indoor setting. Comedians from both Zimbabwe and South Africa ensured festival-goers had a few tickles and chuckles to ease into the following days. The popular Zimbabwean online comedy team, Zambezi News kicked things off. Followed by, Q the boss with his unapologetic and honest humour. South Africans, Chester Missing brought his famed puppet, Conrad Koch for some tongue-cheeky jokes. Zimbabwean political leader, Morgan Tsvangirai and popular Zimbabwean company, Econet were definitely the target of his humour-filled bullets. Loyiso Gola also added his witty and smart jokes to the night of comedy under the Harare sky.
